Its already hot here in Virginia. Thanks goodness for my sewing room and AC.
I worked madly all last week to finish a lap quilt for a friend of mine in the hospital. They are Scotty dog fans and have 2 sweet puppies. Since John can’t see them I made a quilt so they’ll always be around. This was a fun and easy quilt to do. Started it at the Country School Quilters Saturday sew day and finished it up in time to deliver it on Fathers Day the following Sunday.
I’ve also been busy making fidget mats for the CVAMQG community giving project. I’m up to 8 so far. Now I think I’ll make some walker tots. I started with a baby quilt that I made from left over pieces of hand dyed fabric from Vicki Welsh. Beautiful fabric. I cut the top up into quarters and added some playful bits and sandwiched it up.
Thanks for stopping by. Check out what others are doing on Design Wall Mondays at Small Quilts and Doll Quilts
