Monday Morning

And a good one it is!
I’ve been busy finishing up challenges and new quilts. The reveal for the Colonial Peicemaker’s Guild was Saturday, a lot of beautiful quilts. The Challenge this year was “Scrap – Book” Challenge – any thing we wanted that was inspired by a favorite childhood book, and made from only scraps that we had on hand. I did a whole cloth, free motion wall hanging and added paint to enhance the stitches. My book was The Secret Garden.

I also made a set of 4 placemats using a new template I got at Quilting Adentures here in Richmond. It was the Mini Hex N More by JayBird Quilts. Lots of fun and fast & easy.
thanks for stopping by check out what others are doing over at Patchwork Times.

  1. Your quilt for the challenge is absolutely beautiful!! Wow! Love Jaybird Quilts rulers!! Currently working on a quilt using her Sidekick ruler – love! 🙂

  2. Such neat quilts. I love the hexies – you made them look like a view in a kaleidescope – brilliant! Thanks for linking to Hexie Weekend and hope to see you again there – doesn’t have to be hexies.
