Had a great weekend! Mom and I went to the Powhatan Fiber Festival, so much yarn, wool, fleece and animals, didn’t know which way to turn. And yes we did buy more yarn and wool fleece for felting…how can you resist all those colors and textures.
I did get some sewing in, worked on my Boxy Star top from the Bonnie Hunter class a couple of weeks ago. Really like how it turned out. I changed it a little…didn’t sash the blocks, put them right next to each other, it looks a lot different then Bonnie’s.
you can see where I started here it was a great class. One more in line to quilt, that makes 4 or 5 tops ready to go… Now onto Talking Turkey and its millions of pieces…
On a more outdoorsy note the dogwood tree I planted about 15 years ago is loaded with blossoms, first time ever. It usually only has a handful of blooms. Its wonderful to see.
